Chapter Two

Alexander stared at the naked woman before him. He had long expected her to leave his place. Her long blonde hair was sprawled out on the bed and the blanket over her did nothing to conceal her body. It was a little feats for his eyes. He watched silently as she stirred before opening her eyes.

The woman met his gaze and flashed him her pearly whites. She quickly sat up straight, her perky breasts, right in front of him. She seemed to have noticed what he was staring at and enjoyed his reaction.

" Good morning, Baby." She smiled seductively.

" Why are you still here?" Alexander tore his gaze away from her body. The woman pouted. She sat up straighter, wrapping her arms around his neck.

" Don't be like that baby. You just returned from Paris last night and I missed you so much. Why don't you go to work and come back. I'll wait for you here and we can go out and enjoy ourselves some more today?" She suggested. Alexander tore her arms away, eliciting a shocked gasp from her lips.

" You either leave, or I see to it that Raphael drags you out of here. I have more urgent things to take care of than be with you." He snarled.

He watched indifferently as she stomped her way into the bathroom, shutting the door with a loud bang. Alexander rolled his eyes at her behavior. His phone suddenly began vibrating and Alexander couldn't have been more pissed once he saw the person who called.

" Alexander!" His mom yelled.

" Why haven't you come to see me yet?! I know what you're avoiding son and we will have this conversation whether you like it or not. Make sure you're here immediately after work, Understood?" She gritted, not even giving him a chance to speak.

" Yes, Mom." Alexander sighed. His mother hung up without another word, forcing an exasperated grunt out of him.

" What happened?" Alexander turned to meet the blonde staring at him with a towel around her body.

" Didn't I tell you to leave?" He snarled. Out of fear, the woman scurried to grab her clothes and get back into the bathroom.

Alexander realized he was still in his towel too and headed for his closet. By the time he was out and fully dressed, his little toy was already gone. He stared at the untidy bed with disdain. He'd never use this place again.

" What else do I have to do today, Claire?" Alexander asked his secretary.

" Nothing too important,Sir. The rest can all be done tomorrow." The middle aged woman replied, adjusting the pen behind her ear.

Alexander dismissed her as the day was already getting old. The sun was setting and he was sure his mother would have his head for being so late. He had already missed 12 calls from her within the past few hours. He groaned when his phone began vibrating again.

" I'm on my way M-"

" Alex!" A masculine voice called. It was his best friend, Liam.

Alexander pinched the bridge of his nose. He was so stressed out today.

" What is it?" He sighed.

" Remember that rat you wanted me to catch for you?" Liam reminded him. Alexander stiffened. This person in question had tried to steal important documents from him and sell it to rival companies, eventually getting away with it. Alexander had lost billions because of this person.

" I found him ." Liam said triumphantly.

" Just come over to the warehouse and meet me there." Liam hung up the call.

Instantly forgetting about his mother, Alexander drove to the said destination, meeting his best friend by the entrance.

" That was quick." Liam chuckled and Les him inside. They both walked in until they approached a middle aged man tied up to a chair. His head was hung low as light sobs escaped his lips.

" Look at me. " Alexander snarled, his blood boiling with each passing second. The man's beady eyes met Alexander's fiery ones. He began trembling at the sight.

" S-Sir. Please let me go. I-I was only trying to feed my f-family. Please.." The man stammered helplessly.

" Shut the fuck up Martinez. Do have any idea how much I lost because of you?!" Alexander's fist collided with his face. The man groaned at the pain.

" I'm sorry sir. I can repay you. You see, I-I have daughters. Two very beautiful daughters. They are very beautiful and you can take any one. Both of them even." The man pleaded. Alexander's growled.

" Do you think your daughters will make you for the loss you've caused?!"

The man cowered beneath Alexander's gaze and the room fell silent. Alexander could only hold his rage for so long. He released a deep breath before finally sighing.

" Let him go." This shocked both Liam and the man. Hesitantly, Liam untied the man and watched as he stumbled out of the building.

" What was that for?" Liam frowned.

" Martinez is a very valuable asset to me. I need him for on last thing before I deal with him. You're efforts won't go to waste however." Alexander muttered to Liam who seemed more irritated than pleased.

The both of them exited the building, Liam following his friend close behind.

" Have you gone to see your mother yet?" Liam asked. The halt in Alexander's steps answered his question.

" She's still bothering you about getting married, isn't she?" He raised an amused brow.

Alexander reached for his car door and got in, scowling at his friend's cocky smirk.

" You know, maybe that man's daughters can help you with that problem. " Liam shrugged coyly.

Alexander gripped his steering wheel tightly.

" I will not get married to any of that fool's daughters." He gritted. Liam simply shrugged.

" Okay Alex. Good luck finding a wife though. You'll need it. " Liam waved innocently as his friend drove off.

" What took you so long?!" His mother screeched once Alexander appeared in the living room.

" I had something important to deal with." Alexander replied, taking a seat on the living room couch.

" I called you so many times and you didn't pick a single one " His mother approached him.

" Forgive me, Mama." He crossed his legs and began loosening his tie.

" You know Alexander, I'm tires of this nonchalant attitude of yours. I'm giving you two weeks. Two weeks to find a wife or I'll find one for you. And you can kiss that position of yours as CEO goodbye." His mother growled, catching his full attention this time.

" You can't do that!" Alexander sat up straight. He noticed his father approaching them and looked at him for help. But it seemed his father was not on his side. Then again, he never really could go against his mother. It was one reason why he hated the concept of getting married, he didn't want to be as weak as his father.

" Yes I can. So am I clear, Son?" His mother raised a brow, awaiting his reply.

" Yes, mother." Alexander gritted.

" Yes, What?" She pushed, clearly enjoying his submission.

" I'll find a wife." He reluctantly said. This brought a smile to her face.

" Great. Now come over and have dinner. Your favourite, I prepared it myself." She smiled.

Alexander rolled his eyes at her mood switch. He hated how she always got her way. He slumped into his chair, meeting his father's amused gaze.

" Coward." He muttered under his breath.

How o earth was he supposed to find a wife in just two weeks? He pondered over and over again. His mind went back to him conversation with Liam earlier. Maybe he was onto something.
