As days turned into weeks, Willow remained true to her word, avoiding me at all costs. Despite her presence in our home, there was an undeniable distance between us. Her schedule kept her occupied, leaving early in the morning for her program and returning late at night, sometimes even past midnight if she was overworked.

In an attempt to move on, I threw myself into various activities, trying to fill the void she left behind. Jaxon, set me up on multiple blind dates, but none of them seemed to pan out. It felt as though Willow had broken something within me, leaving me unable to connect with anyone else.
