CHAPTER THIRTY ONE.

“When are we going to get there? Is it still a long way?”Gabby asked in a Walter who was matching effortlessly in front of her.

“If you want, I can carry you on my shoulder or I’ll make Andrew do it,” Walter stopped in his tracks and turned to Gabby to tease her with a smile.

“No thank you, I can walk very well on my own,” Gabby replied squinting her eyebrow at Walter and folding her arms across her bosom as a barrier to deter Walter from making do with his threat.

“Hmm, I see you don’t like to be carried, but don’t ever say I didn’t do anything for you.” He said before he turned around and resumed on his way with Gabby behind him and Andrew following behind Gabby. They walked through a hilly path covered by tall green trees and bushes, birds could be heard chirping away on each of their sides, and the sun was beginning to sneak its way out of the sky but even Andrew began to grumble despite the serenity of their surroundings.

“Ahh, look, we are here! Walter exclaimed, pointing down
