Chapter 49

Amelia was so stunned that she could barely utter a word. For another time, she closed her eyes and opened them, hoping to find herself on her or something that would depict that she was only having a dream. But then, Alexander was there, taking her lips and sucking them as though his life depended on it.

Just then, a memory flashed past in her head and unknowingly, she winced in pain. He had ordered her to be thrown into the dungeon and also demanded that she be denied food. Apart from that, she had ordered men to use the whip on her one time she went against the rules.
