Chapter 64

Alexander’s Pov

Her name slipped off my mouth and I pinched myself silently for making such a mistake.

How and why was it easy for me to easily say her name as though she belonged to me?

She belonged to me, but the feeling of her name on my lips felt a lot more personal than I wanted it to be.

“Did you call me Amelia?” She asked in a voice that sounded like a whisper, peering into my eyes while trying to believe her ears.

I scanned through different thoughts on my head, trying to think of a perfect reason to give.

“I was only trying to say that I would never call you by your name…”, I said as I quickly cleared my throat, darting my eyes away from her almost immediately.

She was confused and seemed to be searching through my mind, but luckily, my room bell rang.

I looked at the cctv screen close to where I was and discovered that one of the servants were here to deliver the breakfast.

“You can leave”, I said to him the moment I opened the door.

I would never allow any of the servant
