Adonis swallowed hard, his eyes still intensely focused on Mary that she was forced to look away.

"Yes" he finally said looking into her eyes like he just confirmed to her that he was indeed the dangerous murderer that she had feared him to be. Like he was telling her that there was no point having any hope that he was good after all. He had indeed done all of the things that she had accused him of doing included trying to kill Emma.

Mary could not help but wonder if he was aware that she had published the story about his deeds to the whole world to see.

He further went to explain that it had been a mistake and he did not plan to kill his parents, he was just a boy and did not know anything.

The judge further went to ask why he did not report himself to the police immediately after the act.

Adonis explained that he was just a scared little boy, and he was scared of being locked up by the police so he ran away instead. While he explained, his eyes still remained on Mary, like
