Lashe pursed his lips as Ibukun broke into sobs. She suddenly hugged him and continued crying as she held him tight.

“How…...How…...How…...How…...” Ibukun found it hard to even make a statement. Her heart was aching for him really badly. At a young age; he had to go through such an inhuman treatment.

Lashe rubbed Ibukun’s back without saying anything while Ibukun continued to wail loudly.

Ibukun’s emotions were in a real mess. She wondered how Lashe, a five-year-old was able to live and survive such an experience. How was he able to smile again? How was it for him then?
