SIXTY NINE
Ibukun walked into the seating room and everyone turned to her. Tosinmile sighed as soon as she saw Ibukun tear-stained face. She stood up and walked towards her while her parents stared at her.
“What happened?” Tosinmile asked as Ibukun played with her fingers. She turned to her parents and Tosinmile as a tear slid down her cheeks.
“She has one week left” Ibukun replied and Mrs Ola-Amuda frowned a little.
“Who is she?” Tosinmile asked.
“Lashe’s grandmother. She’s the last family member he has left” Ibukun replied and Tosinmile’s hands went to her mouth immediately. Mr and Mrs Ola-Amuda looked at in each other in shock.
“What’s he gonna do now?” Ibukun cried as her mom pulled her in for a hug.
“Why does he keep losing people he loves so much?” Ibukun asked as more tears ran down her cheeks.

Apparently, they had made fake documents.Her mom took the matter up immediately and sued the uncles to court immediately. She got her whole legal team working on it and Ibukun knew her mom; forget about the fact that Lashe was her daughter’s boyfriend, she was his fan and injustices like that, she hated it. She was definitely going to win the case, that Ibukun was sure of.She sighed as she closed her Physics textbook. Her mock exams were starting the next week and she had barely started reading due to the stress that had plagued the previous weeks. Lashe took a deep breath as he sat in front of his computer. It was his usual live meeting with his fans. He had skipped it for two months, so the fans were swarming on his Instagram page and immediately Lashe started the live video, the fans started commenting and Lashe wore a small smile.“Hello everyone” Lashe greeted as he waved his hands with a smile.“Yeah, I can see all your greetings. Everyone was liv, angry and the social media turned upside down after Lashe’s video. Everyone was posting and soon found AAA’s companies official handles. They bombarded their message boards and soon on Ibukun’s lead; JusticeforLashe was trending on social media and the internet.Everyone was touched by the story and a lot of people had cried while Lashe had told his story. More elderly people had gone to vent their anger angrily on social media. Teens and young adults started making videos expressing their anger at his uncles and in summary, everywhere was on fire. Nigerian celebrities started making posts asking the Supreme court of Nigeria to handle the case and get justice for Lashe.It went more haywire when the United States of America intervened and demanded that the Supreme Court of Nigeria take control of the situation. Lashe walked out of the courthouse as the massive crowd started cheering and shouting. Lashe couldn’t hold back the smile spreading across his face. He looked towards the massive ground as with the help of his bodyguards he was able to climb a slightly higher place to talk to his fans.He waved at them with a smile and their yelling’s went a ton higher while Lashe laughed and smiled. They soon quietened down and Lashe looked around squinting his eyes.“I was looking around hoping that I would be able to remember every face that is here” Lashe said slowly and softly.“Thank you everyone. There is no way I can describe how I am feeling. Seeing you guys here makes me feel so sweet on the inside and trust me when I say this feeling is totally alien to me. I’ve never felt like this before.
