We drove back from the forest after the allotted time Riley had given us. Although it was short, it was more than enough for Thunder and Serenity to get acquainted with each other. And it was more than enough for me to watch our wolves just be themselves and forget the turmoil that their humans were having.

I was expecting that Alexa would be tired and would pass out after our wolves ran a great length of distance since Serenity was not used to being out all the time. But Alexa and her wolf surprised me with the energy and strength they had, the same way that her wolf’s aura did. Serenity was radiating an Alpha female aura, not too strong, but enough for an Alpha to identify that she came from an Alpha lineage.
