Lois's POV
Day 3
It had been a wonderful time here so far. The trip to Jeju island was so fun filled. I kept wondering how my cheek bones weren't aching, as I was practically smiling the whole day.
I and Oliver caught up on a few stuffs that went on while I was away at London. I tried to get him talk about his break up with Eva, but I realized it was quite a touchy subject, cuz whenever I went that line, he would quickly changed to a different subject.
Yesterday, we went skating! Twas really fun as I didn't know how to skate and Oliver had to teach me. I remember falling several times and had Oliver laughing out his lungs. The last time I fell he asked me to hold on to him.
I scoffed but complied because he was suprisingly looking too serious, and that was the moment I enjoyed it more, because Oliver kept going at a fast pace, which got me screaming s
"Do you think we should call the Don?" "No Mario, that wouldn't be necessary""But she isn't concious yet. Well he said he's coming over already"" ........"I kept hearing incoherent words in my head, while I battled to lift open my eyes. Who's Mario?I finally opened my eyes, but groaned and quickly closed it again when my eyes came in contact with the rays of sunlight coming in through the window just above where I laid."Did you hear that Lessandro?" "She's awake?" "Definitely""Hey" I whispered to the huge men who were already in front of me in record time."Good morning Madame"O.. Kay, why the Madame? I tried getting up but the sharp throbbing pain that hit my head got my butt back on the bed, as I clutched my head that felt like it was going to fall any time soon.
Lois's POVI was so shocked at the revelations I got today. Twas still very hard to believe that my Uncle was still alive and that I have been living with Mafians all along without even having a slightest idea. But what exactly was going on? This Mafia revelation doesn't answer my questions? What on earth was going on. I looked up at Uncle Luca who was still laughing, and that was when I noticed that Mr huge guys, had long gone out of the room."Is there a problem Lois?" He asked, dabbing the tears of his eyes. "Yes, Uncle. This is all surreal. I'm sure after having a long sleep, I would awake to reality."He chuckled"I still don't know where I am, and how come you are here?""You are in Rome""Sorry? Rome!!? Like Rome?""Yes, Like Rome the capital of Italy""You mean
OLIVER'S POVI got a call from Uncle Luca yesterday night. Lois wasn't conscious yet, I hope she was fine. I was presently on a flight to Rome in my private jet and I would most likely arrive in the night.Deep down, I couldn't wait to see Lois. Oh! How I missed her, it was unexplainable. I guess it's because of the manner in which we parted two days ago. It hurt me to have kept the truth away from she and Harrieth this long. They both deserved to know what was going on. I guess Lois would be so happy because Uncle Luca was still very much alive. I felt a pang in my heart as I thought of 8 years ago when we had to frame his death. It had taken a toll on her. She was taken for psychological therapy sessions, just to pull her out of the sadness that had eaten way d
OLIVER'S POV We had finally arrived Uncle Luca's mansion and we drove in, as I greeted Flavio, the gatekeeper. I and my Men entered the sitting room and looked around, but didn't see anyone. Then, I heard Voices from the dinning room. Bingo On walking to the dinning room, I heard Lois' voice. I was so happy within, she was conscious already. I halted my steps and listened to her conversation with Uncle Luca. "I can't fall in love....I have been through a lot Lois, and I can't drag any innocent woman into my mess." He said to Lois. "That's not good enough reason not to experience love, Uncle." "I am a man with a dark past, a scary present, and a dangerous future. I am....." And I decided it was time I announced my arrival, I cut into the discus
Lois's POVWe were all seated at the garden in Uncle Luca's mansion, and I haven't for once stopped thinking about what transpired between Oliver and I, yesterday night. After the little quarrel during dinner, Oliver hadn't spoken to me. I felt like he was angry at me. Through out the remaining time we ate, he said nothing. After dinner, he mouthed a 'good night uncle' and headed straight upstairs. I came into the room after assisting Sofiah with the dishes and having a brief random chat with Uncle.I entered the room, changed into my nighties and laid on the bed, with a novel of my favorite author in my hands. Nora Roberts always keeps it real.Oliver walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, which was way too below his waistline, for my comfort and peace of mind. Walking t

LOIS' POVI was drawn out of my reverie by no other than Sofiah."Hey there, Ma'am" She called waving her hand in front of my face. "You were out for a while. Are you alright?""Yeah, yeah. I'm fine Sofie" I said looking up into her beautiful hazel brown eyes. This woman was lovely. She would be perfect for Uncle Luca...My subconscious piped.Seriously!?"Any issues?" I asked."No Ma'am. Just to know if you would love a cup of juice.""Yeah sure.....And it's Lois to you. Okay?""Yes... Yes Lois""Good" I smiled as she walked away.A moment later, Sofiah walked back into the Garden. She went straight to Oliver who was seating on the other side of the garden, a
Oliver's PovI had to leave quite early this morning due to some issues I had to take care of. Apparently Marco was biting more than he could chew. I had to look for a way to handle Eva fast, before things got out of hand.I think it was just the right time to let Lois know the whole truth. Yes, there were still skeletons in my closet sadly enough. I couldn't help but think how things would have turned out much differently, had I confronted my demons head on.I only had two options.Tell Lois the truth, or loose her when she finds out. And I knew it wouldn't be long until she did. I was already deep in, I had fallen in love with her again. She always had my heart all along. Somethings never change, and I learned this the hard way.All the high school bullying, the emotional bruises I tried giving to her, when I found out Nathan Black had been making pa
