CHAPTER 52: IT'S A SETUP

McKenna's POV

"Shift," I said to the three wolves that stood before me.

It was funny that I recognized my son even when his coat was covered in another's blood.

"Mama?" Olly asked shifting back into human form. "Son, please cover yourself from your mama," I laughed knowing he was embarrassed. "Stop looking at my son. He is but a pup," I snapped at Katie who had wondering eyes. "Seriously?" She asked. "Yeah, he's nearly seventeen but he is still only a boy," I said not realizing Lincoln had engulfed the son we share in his arms.

I moved back in an awkward manner turning my attention to Tilly and Marlo who had already engulfed me in their arms.

"Oh, I've missed you all so much," I cried. "We missed you!" they replied in unison. "I sort of need to breathe," I croaked feeling their tightness surround me. "Sorry," they replied again in unison.
