And on this very day, Apollo would be attacked by assassins.June was getting ready for the day, suddenly nervous because he would fail this mission, if either he or one of the main leads die. He was not ready to see Cupid yet after his humiliating withdrawal from a mission last time.
June took in a deep breath and slide his room door open, to his surprise he saw Apollo and Levi standing there, glaring at eachother.
"How long have you two been here?" June asked.
Levi broke the eye contact first to smile at June. June saw a small victorious smile flash on Apollo's face before he too faced him.
ANOTHER ADVENTURE "Well, your information was quite correct, June," Apollo said as he made his way to June who was sitting on a bench by the garden eating snacks. "Hmm?" June said, looking at Apollo. Apollo smiled and rubbed his thumb over the corner of June's mouth. "You had some crumbs there," Apollo explained. June looked down feeling embarrassed and swiped his sleeve over his mouth quickly before looking up at Apollo. "I was right about what?" LION "Excuse me?" June wouldn't believe the opportunity to be close with Samuel presented itself. However, he had to get into the character of the original owner of the body, who distrusted people. "You have no place to go, right?" Samuel asked. June crossed his arms against his chest and looked away from Samuel. He focused his gaze on the grey wall of the cell. "What's the catch?" June asked. Samuel frowned. He could say that June didn't trust him. He understood that June had been living in the streets all his life. He must have met a lot of people with different intention towards him. However, Samuel couldn't help but feel offended for June's distrust towards him. "Well, yo
FINDING PAST June wondered how long the original owner of the body hadn't bathe as he scrubbed his body and watched the soapy foam wash away the dirt in his skin. The warm water hit his body and trickled down his skin. June was tired. He was beaten up the moment he got in this new world. He got locked up in jail for six hours straight. All he wanted to do was sleep. After he was done a warm smell of chicken wafted around the living room. With dripping hair June poked his head inside the kitchen door and saw Samuel cooking. "I am done bathing," June informed and entered the kitchen. He stood next to Samuel and watched him, expertly stir the chicken and rice together and turn the stove off. Samuel turned to look at June and eyed his wet hair. "You will get sick if you don't dry your hair, come let me help y
WARM HOME There was a knock on his office door. Samuel pulled off his reading glasses. "Come in," he muttered as he pinched the bridge of his nose. A woman in a white sundress entered the office. She was tall and had an hourglass figure. Her dark hair was braided and fell over her right shoulder. "Hello, officer Ting." She greeted. [Host, the main leads have met eachother.] June stopped turning the page. He looked at Lion who was stretched on the couch and sleeping. Lion raised his head and also looked back at June. "Well, I am way ahead of her in the game now," June said and went back to his reading. Lion also rested his head back on the couch and continued sleeping. Late in the evening Samuel opened the door of his apartment and to his surprise he saw June on the couch with crossed leg and a book on his hand. And
FUNNY It had been months since Grace last saw June. She was worried for him. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get rid of his thoughts from her mind. She had talked with the police officer who claimed June was living with him for more than two times. He said he told June about her but June still hadn't called her. As she watered her plants, Grace decided to go for a walk. She wore her cardigan over her dress and stepped out of her apartment. Grace smiled up at the warm sunshine and walked down the streets. She slowly stopped in her tracks when she saw the person who had been her first and last thought of the day, for the last few months. June was in front of a cafe. He was wearing a white button up tucked inside his black trouser. He was talking to a police officer. Grace slowly walked towards the
SWEATER TIME The soft buzzing of the car engine filled the silence between June and Samuel as they drove to their apartment. June looked at the sky, the dark clouds rolled and a flash of lighting came followed by the loud crack of thunder. June let out a sharp breath and gripped the side of his shirt and looked away. Samuel noticed all that and softly asked,"Are you scared of thunderstorms?" June shook his head. "No!" Samuel knew June was lying but said nothing. Once they reached the apartment, June and Samuel began to make dinner. June jumped in surprise every now and then when another round of thunder cracked. After dinner, they went to their own rooms. Samuel laid his head on the pillow and looked at the ceiling. "She said, we must be in love." "Wasn't it funny?"
NOT OKAY Luke stopped in his tracks when he saw a man just like June inside a cafe wiping tables. Luke walked towards the cafe window and watched. To Luke's surprise, the man in the cafe was really June. Luke can't really forget that face. It was like a ghost to him. June's face haunted him everywhere. Luke opened the cafe door and stopped when June turned and saw him. It had almost been a year since he got to see the ghost who haunted him in flesh. Luke's heart dropped and it replaced with irritation when he saw June's smile drop. He saw June mutter something to the girl he was talking to and walked inside the kitchen. Luke would never understand June. He wanted June to be with him and when he refused Luke started picking fights with him. He couldn't take the rejection well and was getting frustrated and flustered all the ti
