Nicky's POV

Tonight is the night I've been looking forward to. Dad and Beta have gone to another pack; I have no idea what they are doing because they haven't told me.

I'm the Alpha of the future, but Dad never notified me of any problems in the pack. Dad should have discussed many things with me. Dad just takes me to events so I can get to know all of Alpha and Luna.

Even though dad didn't tell me, I always asked Beta, and Beta told me the reason dad was like that was so that I could enjoy my life now before I became Alpha because dad believed I could become the Alpha that he expected.

Okay, forget about dad and pack. Tonight I want to enjoy my freedom. I've made sure no one sees me coming to this place, and of course, no one will report to dad.

My body starts dancing to music that I've been missing for a long time.
