Chapter 55

**Ariana's POV**

My eyes got big I wasn't expecting him to just accept me right out of the blue. "My father accepted my mom. He mated her, but never marked her. He spent three days with her and on the fourth day, she woke up and he was gone. Just gone. No note, no goodbye nothing! She found out two weeks later, I was the result of her heart being crushed.

Not a great feeling to have lived with my whole life. He never knew I existed. She never looked for him. I don't even know his name. If I am honest with myself, I feel cheated and I would love to know his name.

I would be able to tell him how I really feel about him. How I hate what he did! I despise that my mom's broken heart never healed. For nearly 18 years, she was broken! She loved me but I never knew what it was like to live in a happy home. She tried but she never knew happiness after he left.

Aunt Lily was the only happiness I grew up with. Then, when she lost what was left of her mind before my 16th birthday and the two yea
