The following day, I became bored with staying inside the room and decided to explore. One maid had advised me not to go to the third floor, and so I followed her advice.

I descended to their expansive living room and was taken aback by its interior. It has a Victorian style, which leads me to believe that the house was built many years ago.

When I recall the home, I lived in for decades, I took a deep breath and sigh. The house in which they had the audacity to imprison me. And this time, it appears as though I will be unable to retrieve them.

The West already possesses everything.

“How about a cup of coffee, Ma’am?”

When the lady handed me a cup, I gasped and smiled at her. “Thank you so much,” I said, bowing my head.

“How come you’re bowing?”

I frowned and shifted my position to face him. “Elias—Sir,” I stated.

I noticed how Elias’s brow creased as he approached me.

“I am asking you. How come you’re bowing?”
