Chapter 4:

"Get the hell away from us."

"No, please don't leave."

"Faggot."

"No!"

"No!", Iandor cried out as he sat up. His body was in hyper mode, he was breathing heavily and a sheen of sweat could be seen from his forehead. The duvet were tangled up between his legs with the hem being clutched tightly in his hands making his knuckles go white.

"No..", he said in a cracked voice. Bending his body forward till his head was between his thighs, he raked his hair with his quivering fingers, stopping at the end of his nape rubbing it gently. Looking at the red glowing numbers on the alarm clock, it was half past two and Iandor lets out an exasperated sigh. He's not gonna get any sleep if it meant waking up from a shitty nightmare.

He scans the room, finding something to calm his fuzzy mind and his eyes landed on Jay’s red scarf from earlier which was hanged on the coat hanger. Pulling his legs to the side of the bed, he gets up even though he was still wobbly in the legs, walking towards the wooden pole, he takes the soft scarf in his hands. He clearly doesn't know what was he thinking when he brings it closer to his nose, inhaling deeply as he could.

A faint smell of earthy pine tress with a hint of masculine musk invaded his nostrils and to be honest? It drove him insane. How he didn't notice the scent before was beyond him, even though he had it with him the whole time. But hey, call him crazy, he actually calmed him down just by scenting the woolly material. Ironically, the more he smells it, the more lightheaded he feels. If this is just from one of his piece of clothing, think of how good he'll smell up close.

Jay then places it over his neck, wrapping it nicely with a loose knot in the middle.

Thinking it was best to get something to drink, he carefully opens the door not wanting to make any noises in the middle of the night. He slowly make his way down the stairs with the slight creaks from the wooden steps and went into the kitchen. Lucky for him, Frankie left the lights on after their previous dinner.

Okay, he needs water, yep, a cool glass of water. Tiptoeing to the cabinet where they keep all their dishes and glasses, Iandor pulls out a tall clear crystal glass and continues on to the tap. Filling the glass to the brim, he greedily gulps down on the liquid with no mercy at all. Satisfied with the fresh water hitting his dry throat, he washes the glass and places it on the drying rack.

Turning around, his face immediately hits a rather hard surface, or someone's chest for that matter.

"Couldn't sleep?"

Iandor flinched backwards, resulting his hands that was on his side quickly grabbing the ends of the scarf he was wearing.

Jay’s scarf.

Oh, would you look at that. The owner is towering over him making him nervous as hell, and no, he's heart is not palpitating two hundred times a second, thank you very much.

Iandor didn't answer the younger. Instead he gave him a shy nod and a noise from his slippers shuffling against each other.

"Uhm..i'm sorry if i scared you.", he awkwardly rubs the back of his neck. "How about we start over? I'm Jay. Jay Calloway.", he extended his hand at Jimin for a handshake.

The elder hesitantly stretched his hand out, and grabs Jay’s hand. "Well my name is Iandor.”

Jay awkwardly nods. "Is..err..your injury fully healed yet?" , Iandor catches on the slight change in the younger. His cheeks were a tinge of crimson, his nose scrunching in a weird way. Its cute, but its still weird at the same time. And when Iandor finally sees a genuine smile on the younger, he eternally screams and the adorableness of his bunny teeth poking out. His dominating aura has completely vanishes. Iandor lets out a muffled giggle.

The younger instantly went even more red, knowing Iandor was trying to surpress his laugh. "Its getting there. You're so cute. And i thought Alfie was the one having breathing difficulties when he saw me all bundled up in a sweater."

"Wanna get some of Zachary’s ice cream?", Jay grins. His hands naturally went to his scarf on Iandor’s neck, adjusting the loose knot. It was Iandor’s turn to blush furiously when Jay lets out a small chuckle.

"Yeah. That would be nice.", the auburn-haired male shyly looks at Jay through his lashes not caring that they were going to indulge in frozen treats at three in the morning. The latter couldn't help it as a smile broke out from his face.

--

And so, its finally been a week since Iandor started to officially live with them.

He easily falls into a routine of making breakfast with Frankie in the kitchen every morning. Strategically, the window that was built over the sink shows the gorgeous view of the mountains, forests, birds, Jay. Yes, and conveniently that every same morning was when he ogles at Jay through the kitchen window who was chopping up firewood at the backyard, shirtless. Who chops wood in the middle of winter, shirtless? Of course, Iandor isn't one to complain.

"You're doing it again.", Alfie said in a sing-song voice.

"What?", Iandor innocently asked, but his eyes were not focusing on the male sitting opposite of the kitchen counter.

"You like him don't you?", he wiggles his eyebrows in a suggestive way.

"Pffft. No."

"Yah, Iandor.", he pulls the elder by his wrist, which happens to be the hand that was propping his chin up on the table.

His face would have met with the hard surface if he had not reacted quickly. A playful glint was in his eyes as he diverts his full attention towards the honey blonde male.  "Yah, Alfie.", he mockingly tease.

"Good morning.", another voice boomed in the kitchen, followed by the sound of the door closing.

Both males who was sitting on the high stool swiftly turns their head towards the voice.

Jay was sweating. Like a lot, and holy shit. Iandor can't feel anything at this point. He was still shirtless, and sweat was glistening from his collarbones down to every crevice of his chocolate bar abs.

The younger walks past them to get to the refrigerator and takes out a cool bottle of water. By now, you could say Iandor has already gone to heaven and meet God himself.

Who the hell drinks like he's in a commercial advertisement or something, you're not drinking Gatorade for God's sake. Could you a least not let the water drip from the side of your mouth and lets it trickle down to your chin which ended up continue rolling down to you already wet torso? Like what the fuck are you doing?

Iandor was utterly speechless, it was when Alfie snapped his finger in front of his face then he realizes Jay was already gone.

"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies.", he gave Iandor a shit-eating grin.

"Shut up.", he retorted.

Alfie leans in forward till he was near Iandor’s ear. "Checkmate."

Iandor was about to throw him the jar of strawberry jam when the male was already running up the stairs, guffawing like an idiot. He was left alone in the kitchen with a blooming smile gracing his dusty pink cheeks.
