"I'll be on my way." I said walking towards the elevator and leaving the signed document there on the table.

"Don't forget your... thing." Nathan added pointing at my shoulder bag.

How dare he call my bag a 'thing'? Basically, yes, it's actually a thing but the way he said it, he said it in an insultive kinda way. I walked back to where I left the bag and hung it over my shoulder.

"Thank you!" I said looking straight into his eyes before I turned and walked back to the elevator.

I looked back at Ulric, he was still holding the gun in one hand. It's definitely going to take some time before I will get used to seeing him as a friend and not as a bad guy. Who knows, he may be to Nathan as those guys are to Jaden.

"I walked into the elevator and set it for the first floor. A notification message came in on my phone. I know that it is going to be a text from no one other than Jaden. The elevator started moving.<
