I got back up and headed for the nearest exit.
I didn't turn back to stop and hear what she had to say. Was Sam really expecting me to do that? Was she planning on tempting me with that offer? She really does have no idea of who she's dealing with. Having paid for all those articles of clothing, all Sam has to do is just try them out and if there happens to be a deal with something, take them to be adjusted but if not, take them to whatever dump she lives.
