Chapter 104. Last Commitment

Vincent asked Grace to come with him briefly before he talked to Mike and Jake. He wanted to keep an eye on Kyron, so he chose to speak in the park.

"What do you want to talk about?" said Grace when Vincent took her to a corner of the park. Mike watched from the corner of his eye while Zach sat near Kyron playing.

"About Anderson Silva." Grace immediately fell silent as she looked at Vincent.

"I think he's targeting you." Vincent continued in a low voice.

"What!" Grace gasped in surprise. Vincent continued to stare at Grace, then took a deep breath.

"I didn't mean to scare you. Anderson really isn't a guy who's comfortable being around unless you have different feelings." Vincent tries to find out if Grace might have feelings for Anderson. Grace then grinned with a strange chuckle.

"Sorry, but your boss scares me," Grace admitted quietly. Vincent squeezed out a smile but held it back. At least he knew that Grace didn't have any feelings for Anderson. That's a good start.
