Chapter 78. The Real Dark Secret

Vincent started his epic acting now. He pretended to cry to get sympathy so he could get the blood bag he wanted.

"What's wrong, sir? Why are you crying?" the lab staff asked Vincent. Vincent sobbed, then wiped his fake tears.

"I have to take the blood bags now for my son's treatment. My son has thalassemia, but he's dying. I don't know what to do now," said Vincent, with wet cheeks and teary eyes.

The staff was getting moved now. He sighed and then took the forms for donor recipients.

"All this time, I have been getting blood from a hospital in Brooklyn. But since the incident and the vampire spreading now, they no longer give me blood. Help me; I don't know where to go," said Vincent, continuing to brag.

"You're right; Brooklyn also lacks of blood bags."

"What a coincidence!" thought Vincent, still nodding sadly.

"Okay, then, I'll give you two bags."

"Thank you!" said Vincent gratefully to the staff.

"You're welcome, sir. I hope your son will be better after getting his transfusion.
