Ulysses recounts all the money he has. It's not much but he thinks he's able to support their needs in the meantime. "I still have some savings from the allowance I got from my scholarship and plus yours... I think it should be sufficient for both of us until I get my first payout for work."

If Dylan won't change his mind and stay stubborn as he is now, Ulysses will be forced to spend his vacation to work.
