"What is your connection to Brent?" I blurted out of curiosity. I was really bothered that it was so easy for her to defy Brent in their past encounter. "He's friends with my brother," she revealed.
“So you already knew Brent since then?" I questioned confusedly. "Yeah," she beamed and motioned a peace sign at us. "You giggled to meet the new owner of the restaurant that time?" Aira creased her brows. Hailey explained that she really had no idea that it was Brent who acquired the restaurant. She was surprised too but she managed to act like she didn't know him because she didn't want us to notice it.
