Robert POV.

All night, I sat next to Marissa’s bed, thinking about everything that has happened since I waltzed back into her life. Everything that has happened to her is my doing, but I want to make it right. I can’t leave her. I love her.

I spoke to Anders again after the revelation of Marissa’s dream. Something doesn’t add up. How can she be the cursed wolf of The Snow Vale Pack? I groan as I stroke her face as she sleeps. I jolt back when I feel the slight tingles. My eyes widen as Nero purrs. This isn’t possible. You only feel these tingles with your mate.

I tilt my head back and close my eyes. So many questions fill my head. There is only one place that holds the answers I seek and that is The Snow Vale Pack.

“I will get to the bottom of this, my Regina. I will not leave you again. You have my word, you are mine.” I kiss her forehead as a small moan leaves her perfect lips. I move to the sofa and lay down. My forearm resting on my forehead as I look at the ceiling.
