CHAPTER 11

OLIVIA

"What's that sound?" I said in a frightened and low tone as I stood up from the rocking chair by the pool.

I didn't know exactly where to go but I went in either way.

“Andrew! Andrew!!” I called out repeatedly but no response.

“Where could he have gone to, just now?”

I went upstairs to search the rooms but I couldn't find him.

Something else caught my eye. It was his shoes. They were placed beside the bed and his glass cup was sitting beside it.

I became suspicious. Something is not right.

First the strange sound and now Andrew's shoes.

I shouted his name one more time hoping to get a response but there was nothing of such.

I stood at the windows and looked downstairs at the pool but he wasn't there either.

“Andrew! Please where are you? If this is you teasing me, please stop it. I'm already scared.”

There was no response.

Everywhere was quiet. I seem to be the only one left here.

I became more scared than I was earlier.
