Angeline said half-jokingly, "Don't tell me you thought I'd purposely looked into Ms. Lane's background because I was jealous of her."

"Are you?" There was a hint of a smile in Sean's voice. "I'd be happy if you were."

He would be beyond pleased if Angeline were jealous of him and Melissa; he didn't like how she'd looked so calm and composed that night at the restaurant.
