Chapter Seventeen

Albin pushed me away as he started walking toward his brother with his two hands shoved in his pants pocket.

I fell to the cold floor and that's when I felt the pain in my ankle. I massaged my leg as I glared at his back.

They were discussing something, and I could feel it from here.

I was screaming at myself to stand up and run away but the thing is that they were at the entrance that I will pass through.

After hours of discussing with Allen, he turned and glared bitterly at me before stomping out of the place.

I released my breath with my hands held on my chest.

I noticed a figure still standing beside the door flame, I thought they were gone.

Lifting my head, our eyes locked, and we stared deeply into the eyes of each other.

The whole air around us changed, and the atmosphere became stifled as we gazed into each other's eyes.

We couldn't blink or tear our gazes away from each other.

It was as if we were glued to that spot, and not long though I don't know how long but it turned
