Chapter Twenty-Five
Aria sighed heavily after getting off the phone with Deagan, his flight was delayed after postponing his trip for another two days, she was at her wit’s end.
The surprise birthday party she planned with the help of his family and Drew was on the rocks and she had no idea what to do, the food was being prepared and decor was done, waiting on his arrival and given his recent call, she wasn’t sure he’d make it back in time for his birthday at all.
Aria picked up the phone and dialed Andrew’s number, blinking away the dizzy spell caused by the migraine she couldn’t seem to shake.
“Aria, I’m just finishing up my meeting, I’ll leave straight from here to pick him up,” Andrew spoke quickly.

Aria left her meeting with the District Attorney and headed straight for the airport with the various case files she retrieved already on their way to her office in Seattle. The documents were too important to carry on so instead she had them couriered home.Aycin would be touching down in a few minutes and looking at the dreadful Big Apple traffic before her, she resolved that he would have to wait on her.
