Chapter 29: "Hate you to the moon and back."

Sometime around 9pm……

During working hours, Annette did her best to avoid Hudson because if she talked to him after their argument yesterday, she would probably punch him in the face which would probably cost her job. She chose to avoid him till they had to meet at dinner tonight.

Since he made it quite clear that she will be nothing more than a toy to him, she accepted her fate and at least when he gets tired of her, they can break the contract and they will go their separate ways even though her dignity and pride would be broken.

"And that concludes today's meeting" Marcus Armando said as the employees began to file out of the room

"Annette—" Hudson tried to gain her attention because he knew she was avoiding him but she was out of the room before he could even finish his sentence.
