We didn’t do it again as suggested. He just cleaned me up and ordered dinner after which I immediately fell asleep.

I finally understood why he had wanted to go easy on me when I woke up the next morning and the spot between my legs was aching.

I had no will to stand up and get on with my day, but then my phone rang once, twice, and then, the third time. I groaned. I should have put it on silent before I slept. I turned around sleepily and searched for my phone on the nightstand. When I couldn’t feel Saint beside me, I opened my eyes and looked around. He was nowhere to be found.

With a yawn, I picked up my phone and stared at the screen. It was one o’clock in the afternoon and it was Charlotte calling. I frowned. She knew I was with Saint so she wouldn’t call me unless it was important. Or did my parents find out about my lie?

I sighed and brought the phone up to my ear after answering the call. “Why are you calling so early? Isn’t it like seven or something over
