Teasing Her

The place fills up with guests. Looking up, Roxy comes into sight.

“Roxy is here,” I say, smiling, as she comes over to us.

“Hi, Alena. Hi Jackson. How are you two?” She smiles.

“Good, thank you,” I smile up at her.

“I hear you will be here for a couple of weeks while Jackson is away.” She looks sad like she would miss him, which makes no sense as he is hardly here anyway.

“Sure, will be.” I smile back. I like Roxy. She is like me, new and so quiet. She helps me relax, and I, in a way, can see her as a friend.

“Well, I better go. I only came to see my friend for a bit on her break.” Smiling, I nod. I get up to hug her and smile.

“See you later, guys.” She walks off smiling. Jackson looks at where she is walking to.

“I will be right back.” Jackson smiles. Getting up, he walks to where Roxy is standing. They are deep in conversation when Liam and Georgina walk in.
