Weekend came and I was still thinking if pupunta ako sa party ni Lorence. Bored, I sat on my bed busy scrolling to ideas of photography I am very much interested on things that concerns photography.

"Hija, " I heard my Mom called me,"Yes Mama?" I answered and I heard the door creaked open.

"Your Papa wants to talk to you," she said and give me a small smile, agad akong tumango at sinabing susunod na ako. Sinarado ko muna ang laptop ko at sumunod na sa study room. Kumatok muna ako para respeto at dahan dahang hinuksan ang pinto.

"Papa?" I asked. Agad itong tumango at sinabing umupo ako.

"Sit Hija," sabi nito at sumandal sa upuan niya. Agad akong umayos ng upo at naghihintay sa sasabihin ni Papa. He sighed.

"Do you want to take a business-related course?" he asked. I look at him and trying to process his question.

"Maybe Papa, but why sudden question?" I asked and waited for his answer.

"I want you to help your brother manage our business Hija," He said. Napatango ako.

"But if it's against your will I will not force you," he said. Agad akong napangiti at tumingin kay Papa.

"I will and I want to help Papa but maybe I still want to pursue my dream, " I said, agad naman siyang tumango at ngumiti. Magco-collage ka ako this year and I know na mas gugustuhin nilang piliin namin kung anong makapapagpasaya samin.

"Okay then, just let me know if what you want to do then, " sabi niya at agad akong tumango. Lumapit ako at humalik sa pisngi niya tsaka nagpasyang umalis na.

Night came and I was still having thoughts in whether I'll go to Lorence's party or not. I sighed and leave my room, decided to give the party a try. 

"Mama, I'm going to a party, " Paalam ko. I saw her nodded. I kissed her cheek after telling her and look for Papa. Nagpaalam narin ako at pinayagan naman ako, they are not strict. They allowed us to party and explores the world.

Agad akong nagbihis at nagayos. I wear a knee length black skirt a white loose polo and a heels. Hinayaan ko na nakalugay ang aking buhok at kaubting mascara at lipstick lang ang nilagay ko sa aking mukha at sinuot na ang aking relo at kwentas.

Agad akong nagpaalam kina mama at papa na aalis na ako. Kinuha ko ang sa garahe ang kotse ko at agad na sumakay doon. I bring my own car para hindi na magabala pa sina mama at papa na gisingin ang driver namin. I know how to drive and I'm pretty sure na hindi naman byaheng langit yung driving skills ko. 

Nakarating na ako sa bahay nila Lorence. I instantly parked my car and get my car keys out of the ignition. Agad akong lumabas at sinarado ang pinto ng kotse at naglakad na papuntang pinto ng bahay I can hear the loud music making the people crazy. I can see some couples were now making out probably drunk. Agad akong umiling at naglakad na papasok. 

"Ah! There you are!" I can watch Lorence who is now walking near me with a wide smile plastered on his face. I smiled and look at him. 

"Hi," sabi ko at bahagyang napakamot saking batok. He guided me towards their table and I look around, the people are now wild. I can smell the strong scent of alcohol, I can say that the party started for a while now guessing at the people's unexplainable hype. 

"This is September, September this is Cole, " he introduced me to the guy named Cole, he has this curly black hair and adorable set of dimples, a brown hazel set of eyes, and thick brows. Agad naman akong nakipagkamay at ngumiti, kumindat naman ito at umupo ulit. 

"This is Kurt, " pakilala ulit ni Lorence, tumayo naman ang lalaki he has this nerd but you don't want to mess with vibe. I can say he's a playboy by the way he smirked. A clean-cut hair, arrogant set of brows, chinky eyes and lips that curls perfectly when he smirked and a dark blue color set of eyes. Definitely good-looking.

"Hello, " sabi ko dito. He smirked and nodded. Agad naman akong umupo, he guided me to sit beside him and handed me a beer which I politely declined. 

"I can't, I drive myself, Lorence I can't get drunk, " I said and gazed at him. He nodded and handed me a juice instead. I chatted with them for a while and seems to like them. I scanned my eyes again around and my eyes blinked twice as I saw my best friend, she is making out with Ash, her boyfriend. 

Lorence seemed to feel my uneasiness, he turned to me and asked me. 

"What's wrong?" he asked. Agad akong umiling. 

"You sure?" he asked, I nodded and smiled at him. He excuse his himself and I sat there just listening to the laugh and the crowd. 

"So, September, "Cole trailed off. I look at him, he smiled before continuing his statement." You and Lorence?" he asked. Agad akong umiling at hilaw na tumawa.

"No No, we're not together, " I answered him waving my hand saying that no and it's a stupid joke. I like Lorence, yes but that doesn't make me go crazy over him. I know what I deserve and I know what I want. 

"He said he's determined to court you though," Dagdag pa ni Kurt. Umiling lang ako at ngumiti. I excused myself and go to the crowd. Hinanap ko ang bestfriend ko, I never think that she was into this kind of party.

Nanliit ang aking mga mata, probably stunned. I saw Ash crying and holding a ring. Nagdadalawang isip ako kung lalapitan ko ba siya, Ash and I are not close. We only met once when Solace introduced me to him.

"Uhm, Did you see Solace?" I asked him. He glanced at me and back to the ring he was holding, anger is visible in his eyes. Agad niyang pinahid ang kanyang pisngi at ngumisi.

"Why don't you ask Lorence huh?" He spatted. I look at him confused. "She broke up with me, " he said as he stare at the ring. Agad akong napatakip ng bibig. They've been together for a year and a half now. I can see how Ash loves my best friend, how he adores her and cares for her. 

"Ask Lorence, Dale! " he said and stormed off. Trying to let his word sink in agad akong naglakad pabalik sa table namin kanina, they are now gone. Lalabas na sana ako ng may nabunggo ako. I was about to apologize but before I could say anything, she was running away from me and from the crowd. Her back on me, I called her name but she didn't listen.

I saw her crying, hurt and broken. Agad akong lumabas at dinadasal na maabutan siya but she's not there. I looked at my left side, I saw Lorence standing there. How his hands are on his hair desperately pulling it, he seemed frustrated. Before I can walk near him I saw him run back inside his house. The party is still a blast. I sighed and walk to my car.

Today is not the best timing to ask them.
