~Lance POV~
I've been on my Father's computer since I got back from the Halloween party last night, I needed something to get my mind off of my misery, it was hard to concentrate but I found myself finding comfort in just glancing through the computer and I've been at it for hours, probably also lost track of time.
Everything just seemed to be reminding me of her, even the monitor seemed to be displaying her face from last night to me. I still felt pale and her lip gloss was still on my cheek.
I recommend: Wild things by Alessia Kara for this chapter.~Kara's POV~RECAP..."Right now I'm not sure, I can trust anyone... My own Mother betrayed me!." I told him.I was trusting Johnny already although I can't tell him that, after all I grew up around him and his goons and I watched them do bad things to people."Well I'm not asking for your trust, K. I say we make an alliance." He looked serious. In the days to come I sure will need all the help I can get so long as I want to be able to fulfill my promise to Lance. Also THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY IS MY FRIEND!.Johnny stret
A/N: This chapter is a continuation of Lance POV from chapter 27...~Lance POV~RECAP......I decided to do something, I didn't want to do, but needed to do.Call my Mother.I picked my cell phone from the desk and typed her number on the dial off handedly. I had deleted it after our last encounter.I heaved in and out as I felt a huge weight in my chest. She picked on the second ring, it was barely even Dawn, did she somehow know I'll turn back to her for some information?."So I see you changed your mind after all, I knew you'll come around..." She was messing wit
~Lance POV~RECAP..."Upgrade connect the coordinates to the car and engage auto drive." I commanded with the last energy I could summon.I gently placed my phone on the dash board."Auto drive engaged!." The car engines reeved and roared back to life once more and that's when I could finally tell myself...It'll be alright!.I breathed in heavily as calm swept over me. The pain returned, I could feel my sides burning, my ankle was already swelling and my injured palm was probably already infected.I kept heaving in and out to cool off a
A/N: This chapter starts from a third person POV, which is mine! And also they'll be other POVs in this very chapter, so sit back and enjoy. Pls don't get confused, and remember also that all this is what was going on while Kara was with Johnny in her father's warehouse and in Persian Hill.***~My Very Own POV~The scene opens at a National airport, a sassy young lady walks through the arrivals door inside the airport, she seems to be our character. She has a rich auburn hair, which was packed in a high messy bun as unruly strands fell unto her face enhancing her girly look, she had grey sparkly eyes which was turning into an ocean of colors, it shone brightly in the lit environment like a diamond refracting sun rays. She is wearing a
THREE YEARS EARLIER...May 16th 2012...***~Kara's POV~As my usual was every evening, I decided to take a quick stroll around the house. I've been living in Paradise for the past four years now and it never gets old, Tabitha and Thomas have been lovely foster parents, Daniel on the other hand has somewhat abandoned me, I haven't heard from him since the day he dropped me here.Well I was used to people making promises to me, that they may never fulfil till the end of the world is nay. Just like my Mom, she left without saying goodbye and just left a letter saying she'll be back soon, it's been almost seven years since she left, how long is SOON?.I won't say I'd lost all hope of her returning, but Tabby has been the best, she'd successfully reached out to me and fi
PS: I recommend; Changes by Justin Bieber and Changes by Tupac.***RECAP..."I just woke up few days ago and I just want you to know that I'm fine and you don't have to worry about me, I'll be back soon." Her voice sounded a bit raspy.Tears were already welling up in my eyes."I miss you Nana!.""Me too Kara, I'll see you soon."I heard her cough a little before the call ended, I could feel relief wash over me immediately, she was alive and okay. Now I can worry about where I am...
The shiny silvery gravels crumbled beneath my feet lightly and then roughly when I intentionally stumped in grief. Remind me again how my life resorted to this?.I felt my eye lid growing heavy, I raised my head gently to look at the clear ocean blue sky beneath which every known evil on the earth was taking place at the moment, I was fighting them away but I could still feel the tears brimming slightly.I heaved in and out repeatedly so I could ease the painful heaviness in my heart, which was caused by years of pain and heart ache.Standing here by his headstone was only just making everything more harder."Why mother?." I said in a broken whisper.I gulped in pain and helplessly crumbled to the gravel filled ground of the cemetery, I haven't been here since the last three years, everyone told me it would be easier, if I let go, but truth is, I can't let go, not now, not tomorrow, not ev
~Lance POV~"Come on now kid!, Hit harder... That's it!, Let's go again from the top... Harder... Yeah that's more like it!." Paul kept saying to me as we trained.I kept throwing different punches at him and trying out the new skills he had taught me in this past few days. Living in Earl's Manor and being trained my Paul was on a whole new level. It's been two weeks since the Persian Hill incident, all my life I had never had such an encounter, right now I don't even know what my deal is, Don Starllion didn't kill my father, so for the past three years, I have been fighting a lost battle, but now that I know that Persian Hill was responsible, I don't even understand them well enough to think about exerting my revenge. Everything just got a whole lot more complicated and dangerous.I haven't reached out to my household since the incident but my gut tells me they are doing just fine, after all it was my presence that was endangering their lives.I was no longer a free man, the Persian H
