18: Jason

Jason dragged himself away from her, as hard as it was, and let her have some space. It had taken all of his willpower to restrain himself when he saw her blushing and all wound up like that, so close to him, but he was wary of spooking her and driving her away.

He sighed, opting for a cool shower himself, to help him think. They needed to start making some plans today, preferably while she slept. He didn't want her to see into that part of their world just yet, that kind of thing would send any sane person running.

After he'd washed and dressed again, his head clearer, and he went downstairs to find his brothers sitting at a table out by the pool, talking quietly. They looked up when he came out, Mikael raising a questioning eyebrow.

Jason nodded, "She's fine," he took a seat next to them, pulling it up to the table, "doesn't like feeling stuck here, but I convinced her to wait until tomorrow." Lukas stared at him, "She's not really going back to that
