Chapter 66: Emlyn

It becomes obvious very quickly that this attack is primarily against the Guardians. I have my own group of wolves that I’m fighting, and I can no longer see Malin and Cohen’s wolves through the group surrounding them. I can feel Aunt Cara nearby, but I can't see her or Uncle Rik either.

I hear the wolves around me, battling for their lives. Because I’m still officially part of Safe Haven’s pack, I can feel it when they begin rushing to our assistance. It’s not long after that, that I hear Finley’s howl that he’s on his way. I’m equal parts excited and scared to have him in this battle. He’ll be just as much of a target as I am, but Morrigan can’t help but feel excited to fight beside her mate once again.
