044: Gemstones Like Your Eyes

  Evelyn is looking in the mirror, seriously brushing her hair.

  She turned her head sideways and ran a comb through the long, beautiful, soft, pale blonde hair, running her fingers through it as if she were caressing a river of gold.

  Once she had combed her hair, she began to braid it in a simple yet beautiful braid. She was skillful and dexterous, she hadn't helped pretty girls with their hair before when she was at the temple, and it didn't take long for the soft strands to intertwine with each other, the slightly curly crunchy hair hanging masterfully around her ears.

  She took a good look at the skin on her face in the mirror, pale, delicate and smooth, perhaps because she had adapted to living here, her face had regained some of its redness rather than all of its whiteness, and she looked in good spirits, or at least very healthy.
