I stand by the slope as auntie opens the gate, coming inside. She gets surprised, seeing me there.
"Christian!", she exclaims. "You are here at this hour?"
"I wasn't feeling good. So, I thought to meet you", I pass a mild smile as she touches my cheek.
"Did you have the dinner?", she asks.
"I...."
"You didn't I know. Come inside. I'll make something for you", she unlocks the door as we come inside.
"Go and freshen up", she says.
"Can I use your washroom?", I mumble. Most of the time when I came here, I used to use Ivanna's room. I don't wanna go there now. Her memories will be weakening me more. Though her home is doing the same, that room had most of our silly, lovely and beautiful moments.
"Sure", Auntie smiles at me. Maybe, she figured out why I was saying this.
