Chapter 40 (Craziness)

Discovering him in the hospital shocked me. How did he come here? Why did he pay the bill when I didn't ask for it? As I continue to think all this his gaze moves to me. I firmly look at him as he gets up and walks towards the reception. When he is a foot away from me, he stops and looks at me from head to toe.
"What's this, Iva? What have you done to yourself?", he asks in a husky voice. Here I'm dying after witnessing Christian like this and all he cares about is my appearance.
"I don't care about it right now", I scoff, gazing at him. "Why did you pay without letting me know?"
"Do I have to inform you before helping my student? I guess I have the right", he raises his eyebrows. I can't argue with him about that now so I choose to skip
