Chapter 41 (He sensed the pain)

Adavan seems to be an imperfect person but not bad at heart. Especially towards Christian, he has been always affectionate. I won't deny that I'm sitting beside Christian without any tension only because of him. I would've gone to him for help definitely after trying every possible thing.
I lift the sandwich and take a bite of it as Adavan remains standing beside me. I feel a little awkward while eating since he is gazing at me.
"How's he now?", he asks, looking at Christian.
"Doctor said he is better than before. But I'm finding this worst too", I mutter, taking a bite. Christian has fallen asleep as the doctor said that the medicines will cause him deep sleep. I caress his hairs with my left hand.
