A woman lay in her bed, her sleeping form a graceful curve, her body relaxed, trusting in the bed's embrace. But then, her body began to stir, her legs twitching, her arms flailing, as if trying to outrun the darkness that suddenly began haunting her dreams.

With a graceful motion, she threw off the covers and rose from her bed, the soft rustle of her silk nightgown whispering secrets to the morning air.

As she moved towards the door, her slender legs carried her with the fluid grace of a deer, her bare feet making barely a sound on the cold floor.
