*********

Ariana shot her eyes closed tightly and rested her head on the back seat. Even though it had been ten years, the memory of her father leaving her still tormented and haunted her mind. She fisted her palm on her lap trying not to think about it, but it kept coming, Evey single time.

Her mothers car drove past resembling houses either with a different mail box or house address. They both moved into a new town, Westley coast.

A small town where we can have a perfectly normal life.

Her mother would say, but nothing had been normal talk less of perfectly normal for Ariana ever since her family split.

The car came to a stop and Ariana without  hesitation, jumed out of the car, her butt was aching for seating too long. She gave a long stare at her house, it wasn't too big, and it was no where near small, it had a bright blue mailbox at the front and the porch of the house was wide. She gave a quick glance at the neighboring house beside hers and immediately hated the distance between them, it was like only four to five feet away from each other.

Silently, Ariana and her mother unpacked their belongings and put it where necessary. None of them uttering a word to each other.

Finding the silence rather uncomfortable, she went outside to get her luggages for her room. Reluctantly, she dragged the big bag off the car's trunk, then a car drive past her, spilling mud water on her trouser.

"Shit." She cursed, glaring hard at the car. A girl about twenty-two or so came out when the car was parked, texting on her phone. Ariana turned, not wanting to attention. She focused her attention back to the bag and kept on dragging it towards her house.

"Hey, you must be new here?" Ari froze at the new door of conversation. She turned to face who spoke and she saw a guy, standing next to the girl she just saw earlier. Not replying, Ariana rushed into the house.

She didn't say a word to her mother, but found her way to her empty room that had only a bed, a wardrobe and the door to the bathroom. She began unpacking, trying her best not to think of anything stupid.

If anyone tries to be friendly, ignore. If they get stubborn about it, punch them.

She stated to herself. It always seemed to be a remedy for her. She had only one motive in life. To die alone.

When she turned thirteen, Ari went for boxing training, she used it for her personal use. She called it self defense. Although it was a child's dream, she planned to achieve being a navy seal it in the nearest future.
