I didn’t so much need to go to the restroom as I wanted to put my feelings and thoughts in order and be alone for at least a few minutes.

Refreshed, I returned back in a more or less balanced state with a calmed heart rhythm, which broke into a gallop as soon as I realized how I slept. Maxim was already sitting, reading something on his tablet, and I followed his example - spending the time before landing, reading the same boring detective story.

The time between landing in Vladivostok and departure to Tokyo flew by so quickly that we barely had time to eat in one of the airport cafes, as we were already running to board the plane. Maxim, having taken out a tablet, sat buried in it the whole flight, only a few times was distracted by a passing stewardess and asked me if I wanted to eat, coffee, tea and fill out some papers, which I also gave to the stewardess.
