Lots of loving

Sophia opened her eyes the next morning to meet Addison's. Addison cupped her face in her tiny palm, stroking Sophia's hair with her free hand.

“Baby, how did you get here?”

Addison pointed at her father who was busy arranging the new bouquet he got for her.

“You're awake. I brought you two little gift boxes.” Noah put Aiden on the bed next to Sophia.

“The doctor said you're ready to be discharged. So, I thought we'd go on a little trip. I brought you a change of clothes, and some sunglasses.”

Sophia smiled sheepishly, “Wait, are we going to beach?”

“Even better, a beach house.” He picked Sophia up from the bed amidst her protesting.

“Just let me help you,” he said, “Or else I'll help you get dressed.”

Her cheeks colored a light pink, “No, I'm up. Let me go change in the bathroom.” Sophia changed into the beach clothes that Noah got her. In the bag she found a pink bikini set.

‘How'd he know my size?’ she thought to herself.

“I'm taking the kids to the car sweetie. I'll be back,”
