The trial

After Sophia had signed the papers, she distanced herself from Noah. The very idea of loosing her kids was demoralizing.

There was no way she would let a family who treated her like garbage take her kids forcefully. She already placed a few calls and spoke with her attorney.

If they wanted her children, the only way to get them was over her dead body. Sophia stared at Addison and Aiden who were sleeping peacefully in her grandmother's bed.

“Don't worry baby, they'll be fine.”

“I know mum, but--” Sophia broke into a sob. Her children were her life. She had to protect them with everything in her.

“So you're really not going to work today even when I told you that I'll be here all day watching these angels?”

“Mum, I know you're a good caregiver, but I can't risk it.”

“Soph, you have a freaking tracker on these kids!” she chuckled slightly.

“Just for today mum, just for today.” She kissed her mother on the cheek and headed downstairs.
