Once we were back at the packhouse, Brax and I walked quietly to our rooms. He could tell that I need space right now. I am an idiot for thinking that I could take Brax around Drake without anything happening. That was all my fault, and poor Brax, he tried so hard to keep control of his temper. Drake didn’t have to react that way. At this point I really wish he would just leave me alone. The idea of us even being friends seems ridiculous.
After showering, I pulled on an oversized t-shirt and threw myself onto my bed. My room had a soft blue glow from the full moon. I took a deep breath and sighed. Things are becoming more clear to me now. No matter how much it hurts, I need to cut all ties with Drake. I care for him, but I wonder if I have been blind to his insanity this

Chapter 26: Cinder and Ash~ Willow ~A strong odor caused my eyes to water. What is that? I thought to myself. Is something on fire?
