95. Know About Her Past

Not long after Lucas left,

Heidi let out a muffled scream, her hand reaching out for the empty air.

In her dark vision, water flooded into her nose and mouth, drowning her, its heavy weight pushing her down.

Her legs were caught in a sea kelp and she thrashed and struggled fruitlessly.

With each moment that passed by, her strength and resolve departed from her. When her head hit a hard stone, Heidi gasped and sat up, her eyes wide and her heart racing so fast as if it would burst out!

“Heidi- Heidi, you're awake!” Zach's frightened voice reached her ears.

Heidi's palm wandered to her chest, holding it tight to ease down her heartbeat.

“Heidi!” Zach called out again. “Please stop acting weird. Thank goodness, you're awake. You don't know how frightened I was, I almost thought you wouldn't wake up.”

“What is going on?” Heidi's eyes wandered around. “What am I doing in a hospital?”
