Chapter 195: "Lost Angels"

*Meadow*

I start to recover some consciousness and I stretch my arms. I end up touching a wall and it's cold. I hear whispers and my mind focuses. My wolf is alert and tense.

"Meadow? Are you waking up?" I hear Caly's voice.

Caly, I heard her before I fainted. And I fainted when I was visiting my mother. Now I remember, Lucifer was there. My eyes snap open and I sit quickly. I don't recognize where I am, but I meet Caly's worried eyes. "What happened?"

She sighs and nods at me. Only then I look around and see Amra, serious and distant, as well as Lucifer. I gasp; he is trapped in some sort of entanglement and this has embraced him tightly. Caly's voice brings my attention back to her. "I was trying to reach to you… Amra felt you were in danger… We couldn't find you! He had to use a lot of his powers to find you…"
