Chapter 18- Pregnancy News

A week had passed since that evening on the balcony. It was just after ten in the morning and Aria was sitting on her bed waiting for the result of the pregnancy test, she had just taken. She was supposed to start her periods a few weeks ago and when she hadn’t, she decided to do the test and finally put her mind at rest.

Adrian and her had only had unprotected sex once, but sometimes that was all it took for it to stick and turn into a baby.

“When I had signed the contract to work for him, I had agreed to not get pregnant for at least two years” she thought to herself as she started at the test stick in front of her, hoping it was negative. She loved kids but wasn’t ready to become a mum just yet. It wasn’t long before result finally appeared on the stick and her eyes fell on the two strong lines. She blinked and looked at it again, thinking this couldn’t be true, even though the lines were very dark and visible.
