My head was heavy and aching due to the long hours of cries and screams. I don't know where I was but I know that it must be remote... Well, unless the room I was kept in was sound proof; that's the only possibility why my constant screams weren't being heard. I stopped screaming with that realization.

My joints were hurting due to the restraints, the more I tried to move, the more it hurt so I accepted my fate.

But the hardest part was accepting that Lucas was truly gone. The mere thought sent fresh waves of agony crashing over me, threatening to drown me in sorrow.
