Chapter 38: I Tempt You.

Catherine's POV.

Dinner was uncommunicative, my eyes kept trailing to Lucas and to make my case worse, my body kept reacting so badly when I remembered how hard he was.

He was hard for me... Right?

"Gosh! Laurel, keep it calm, will ya?" He asked Laurel who was busy pulling his hair for attention, he was happily playing with the kids who were sitting comfortably on his laps.

I don't know how he managed to keep those bundles of pounds on his legs without flinching in pain, one is enough to make me ache everywhere but he doesn't seem bothered, the kids have been on his laps for the last thirty minutes and to make things really worse for me, they don't look sleepy at all.

It has become the tradition of the three men to always play till they all get tired. My boys are big and they are growing rapidly. That gives me an immense joy I never thought I'd feel.
