Alexander’s POV

The drive with Ethan was the weirdest I had ever had in my entire life, I was so glad when we finally pulled up in front of Dr. Carter’s house, he seemed relived as well because he quickly opened the door and stepped out.

We were used to hating one another so much that it was hard to try to be civil with another now, it seemed weird to even smile at him, I much preferred it when we were going for each others throats but if I was being honest with myself, this was not so bad after all.

“You think she is home?” Ethan asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders and said “Well we have only one way to find out” and then I gestured to the steps.

He rolled his eyes and started toward the door, I followed behind him.

He rang the door bell and we both stood by the door waiting for it to be opened.
